Overview
The Brigance Transition Skills Inventory (Brigance TSI; Brigance, 2010) includes more than 100 criterion-referenced assessments. The assessments measure present levels of performance in four transition skill areas: academic skills; post-secondary opportunities; independent living; and community participation. The TSI is designed for use with middle school and high school students. The TSI may be used to monitor and report progress on transition goals. The TSI is designed to be age-appropriate and to support the development of transition goals and objectives. No specialized training is required for administration of the Brigance TSI.
